CB is starting a new service for Consignors. You may now establish an account at CB. You may leave your monthly check in your account and when you make a purchase, simply apply the money in your account to your purchases. Take advantage of all the great buys at CB. For the balance of December you will receive a 10% discount on your first purchase following the establishment of an account. As always you can use your account for layaways as well.

All of us at CB are excited and appreciative for being nominated as Best Small Business of the Year for Loudoun County. Our goal continues to be ” the best Consignment shop in Northern Virginia”. We beleive the key to that objective is to provide our consignors and customers the best shopping experience possible combined with extra services and support for the community that makes your experience at CB everything you would like it to be. As examples of that effort we have added “Alterations by Laura” and “Lenah House Antiques” to the in- store services available to you. Most recently we have added doTerra Essential Oils to our product lines for those customers who want these products. Marilyn has completed two courses through the Gemological Institute of America to better assist you in finding the jewelry of quality that is both beautiful and well priced. CB is a drop off location for unopened toiletries and cosmetics which we take to the “Loudoun Free Clinic” and we accept old eye glasses that the Lion’s Club picks up for their internationally known site program. CB’s primary program for community support continues to be to deliver donated clothes that do not sell during the consignment period to Blue Ridge Hospice for resell in their six thrift shops, with the proceeds being used to support their patient care program. Through our Consignor”s support of this program we have donated more than $65,000 of clothes and other items to BRH in your behalf while providing you the opportunity to receive a tax deduction for your generosity. We also encourage all of our staff to take active rolls both at the store and outside of work to support a wide range of community needs and programs. We will continue to seek ways to make your shopping experience at CB the best and look forward to serving you soon.
CB is proud to have designated Blue Ridge Hospice as its charity for making donations to its six thrift shops for Consignors who have elected to Donate their consignments at the end of the 60 day consignment period at the store. Consignors may request a form for donations to the thrift shops at the store. We want to share some of the information about the work of Blue Ridge Hospice and their services with our friends, consignors and customers.

2. Blue Ridge Hospice provides palliative care, pain and symptom management, inpatient care, medical and social services, grief and loss support, spiritual support and music and pet

3. As a not-for-profit hospice care provider, Blue Ridge Hospice makes available its many services to anyone in the communities we serve, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay for care. In 2011, we donated $284,800 in charity care to those without insurance or who were unable to pay for their care.
4. Blue Ridge Hospice serves the counties of Loudoun. Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Shenandoah, Page and Luray, as well as the City of Winchester. Last year, our organization served 1,054 patients and conducted 1,684 palliative care consultations and visits.
