How to Sell

Welcome! We’re pleased that you want to become a part of our shop.

We make getting rid of unwanted ‘stuff’ painless and profitable! Download our forms with ease.

Here’s how it works:

Call to make an appointment to bring in your items.

Most appointments take about 15 minutes and you can look around while we sort through your items.

When you bring your items in, we will select what our customers will buy. Sometimes there will be items that we cannot sell. Please understand that our customers’ preferences must guide our selection. You may choose to take these items home or donate them to a thrift shop.

We base prices on supply and demand. We will get the best possible prices for you. Items must have a price of $10 or more.

For Your Convenience, our handy Drop & Run is the perfect way to avoid a wait when you bring in your items.

You will receive 40% of the selling price.  We write checks the 10th of the month for previous month’s sales. If you drop in by the 15th you may pick up your check, if you can’t stop in we will mail the check to you on the 16th.

We will display your items for 60 days. The selling price will be reduced by 25% for the last 15 days, and if not sold at that time will be removed from the sale floor.

If you selected “Donate” your unsold items  will be given to the Blue Ridge Hospice Thrift Shops. You may pick up a receipt if you wish. If you choose to pick up your unsold items there is a $25 annual fee.

We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss.

Here are some of the items you may want to consign!

  • Upscale ladies clothing (See Brands)
  • Jewelry, belts, purses, scarves, hats, and lovely accessories
  • Shoes
  • House wares, china, vases, glassware, pottery, frames, collectibles, pictures, placemats and table linens, lamps

All items must be clean, pressed, in good repair, have no stains and be in good condition. All dresses, jackets and shirts must be on hangers.

  • Electronics
  • Books
  • T-shirts
  • Lingerie
  • Men’s clothing
  • Children’s clothing
  • Furniture
  • Bed linens
  • Sporting goods
