How to Sell

Welcome! We’re pleased that you want to become a part of our shop.

We make getting rid of unwanted ‘stuff’ painless and profitable! Download our forms with ease.

Here’s how it works:

Call to make an appointment to bring in your items. 703-777-1188

Please do not bring more than 20 items per visit. Most appointments take about 15 minutes.

When you bring your items in, we will select what our customers will buy. Sometimes there will be items that we cannot sell. Please understand that our customers’ preferences must guide our selections. We will be happy to donate items which we cannot accept to Blue Ridge Hospice Thrift Shop (s).

We base prices on supply and demand. We will get the best possible prices for you. Items must have a price of $10 or more.

For Your Convenience, our handy Drop & Run is the perfect way to avoid a wait when you bring in your items.

We base prices on supply and demand. We will get the best possible prices for you. Items must have a price of $10 or more.

You will receive 40% of the selling price. We write checks the 10th of the month for previous month’s sales. If you come by the shop by the 15th, you may pick up your check. If you can’t stop in, we will mail the check to you on the 16th.

We will display your items for 60 days. They will be at full price for 45 days and then the selling price will be reduced by 25% for the last 15 days, and if not sold at that time, they will be removed from the sales floor.

There is a $25 annual fee if you choose to PICK UP any unsold items. We will call or email you when they are ready to be picked up. You will have two (2) weeks to do so. After that time, they will be donated to Blue Ridge Hospice Thrift Shop unless you contact us to make other arrangements.

We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss.
